The drivers side door on my X1100 has become increasingly difficult to open from the inside. So today I decided to see what the problem was. While I didn't see any thing obviously wrong with the mechanism I did notice some surface rust at the bottom of the door by the weep holes. Additionally I have seen quite a few 1100's for sale wit the bottom of the doors ate up with rust. Does any one have a good way to keed the doors from rusting out? I did spray a ton of fluid film down there...
