A short video from the beach of Keramoti in Kavala - Greece the day before yesterday with the full moon, Straberry moon some says.
The video was made with a unique lighting of the moon.
Was done to test shots in the 'absolute darkness'.
Difficult case, since I do not have a faster lens, I have the Tamron 28 75 f2.8.
The relevant compression was done by ytube, which also did some 'damage'.

As some of you know we do agricultural spraying with our X1100c. In March I started looking for a manufacturer that makes a cruise control for the Kubotas. After a lot of research I came across a company called McCruise in Australia. Due to the pandemic they have had issues getting parts but finally they arrived and they shipped out a unit. Priced at 1775.00 aud or about $1400.00 Usd it’s a pretty good investment. I’m telling you about this because it arrived today.

Emergency Brake Stuck

2013 ( I think) Kubota 1100 RTV and the emergency brake cable has either broken or come apart somewhere. And the RTV is stuck with the emergency brake ON. Anyone had this problem before? And how can I get the EB disconnected so I can move the RTV?

We had a pot luck at work and someone brought this. I think it's worth sharing. Very good.

Cheesy Hash Brown Casserole

1 20 Oz package shredded hash brown potatoes
1 small can of cream of chicken soup
2 cups of shredded Cheddar Cheese
1 container of sour cream
1 stick of butter (melted)

Combine ingredients and dump into 9 x 13 pan.
Bake at 350 for 1 hour.

Got a couple of Massey Ferguson 7's. The one with the chrome hubcaps runs perfect, just needs a seat. Has a mower deck but it's rotten.

The other one has a locked up engine, but has a perfect mower deck.

I couldn't stand to see them get scrapped.

RTV900 loses power and has a whine from the pump

Hi all. Just curious if anyone has any ideas for me.

I've got an RTV900 that runs just perfect for about 10 minutes.

Then it will begin losing hydro power (nothing wrong with the engine). High/Medium/Low all just starts losing power and you begin to hear a whine from the pumps. Before long, you are in low, full throttle, and going nowhere. I shut it off for a few minutes, start it right back up and it runs great again.

Hi. First time post and needing help. I have a 2016 RTV500 with 125 hours. While driving the other day, with no load on level ground it made a small metallic noise much like clipping a small tree with the snowplow blade. Then it just coated to a stop. Battery light stays on.

I am sure this has been covered somewhere in the forum....
The battery light on my 2005 900 RTV continuously stays on. After riding it a while if you turn it off it will not restart. The lights will work but the engine will not turn over. Assuming the alternator is not charging the battery. I've checked/cleaned fuses, wires, terminals, etc... and everything appears to be fine.
After charging the battery, everything is back to normal.

Massey 1740M Steering Problem

I just bought a new Massey 1740M and it will not steer when sitting still and gets worse when you have weight in the bucket. It’s been at the dealers Since I got it. They changed the steering pump and it still the same. I’m unable to get in and out of tight places. The dealer said it is operating within specs and noting they can do about it. I’ve owned Massey before and never had an issue. Anyone else having this issue and what is the fix? I’ve attached a video. Thanks. Rod

TYM 723 hydraulics heat up using remote float

I am using the float position on my remote when using a drum mower. The hydraulics heat up to the point that engaging gears is delayed. I have 700 hours on the tractor. My understanding of the valve is that the fluid should flow through the body the same as when in the neutral position so the fluid shouldn't heat up more that normal. The workshop manual shows the flow through the different positions. Is there an adjustment for the float? The manual doesn't show one.

Ok so I'm on a budget, had to buy a broke 2013 rtv900xt. Runs good wouldn't move,I removed engine and transmission when I separated transmission from unit the bearing holder plate was broke at input shaft. Ring and pinion was trash (845.00) later and 1500.00 total in parts . When I reassemble transmission gears will only move when you shift in low gear. I need a lil help. New to me x1100c has quite a bit of hydraulic noise that seems to be coming from the charge pump/hst filter when it's at idle. Runs perfectly normal except for the whine. Is this normal? My other machine doesn't do it near this much.

Here's my solution to prevent leaving my ROPS up when parking my Kubota in a standard sized garage. I had a 12" x 24" banner made at the local print shop. It has a grommet at the two top corners. I used self tapping screws to mount it to the garage door, about 2 feet above the floor. Dealer tells me he can only get a cylinder head without valves.

Working the RTV

Did some work on my bush road today. I LOVE this RTV!! I didn't want to abuse it so I only hauled a bucket and a half from the B2620 at a time. It handled it like nothing.
Oddly it goes one MPH faster up the hills when it's loaded than it does empty. And had the AC on high. It bogged down at first, then just starts pulling.
As others here told me, it does save a ton of time as it can travel a lot faster up the hills than the tractor can.

So glad I bought this rather than another "toy" atv.

John Deere 6110 hissing sound stuck valve.

Title says it all.
I have a 6110 jd with a 620 loader. It doesn’t seem to matter if I use the loader, or steering wheel, quite often a valve is sticking somewhere in the back making a hissing sound. If I wiggle the loader it releases the pressure.
Any idea what to take apart and clean?

My 2010 RTV900 that I purchased last winter has 3200+ hours on it and I don't think the valves had ever been adjusted based on the paint on the bolts and the vapor hose going to the valve cover. dead battery now will not start

RTV 900 2013. Replaced dead battery now nothing works horn, lights gauges, appears completely dead, except my work lights that are connected directly to the battery now work fine. i checked the 2 big fuses and they look ok. Any suggestions? Checked battery terminals and they are about 12.2 volts. Charged the new battery and it is 100%.

Rattles?

I have to go outside later and crawl under the RTV and check fasteners. Anyone have problems with rattles on the 1100's? Mine just started after 4 rides. Sounds like skid plates vibrating? I did have to bend up one of the exhaust shields previously.
It's like a vibration resonance.

It only does it at idle standing still in gear, but it is enough to annoy me, LOL

Is the outside width at the front of the sidekick bed the same as a x900 ? My x900 outside width at the front is right at 60 inches. I am thinking of ordering the sidekick front upper bed plate to put on my x900 to close the gap between the bed and cab. Looks like it would fit with drilling two bolt holes at each corner of the x900. Thanks!

Excavator seat time

Drove the excavator over the back 40 to the river this morning. 3/4 mile of seat puckering fun. I had the excavator rocking like a rocking chair more than once. Made me appreciate the skill of the operator who has done major trail improvements and fixed a huge slip on my property. He always made it look so easy an natural.

My wife's brother stopped by yesterday with an 80hp Kubota he picked up a couple years ago. BIG tractor. Has a Woods FEL on it and a big box blade on the back.
He thinks it's a 2002 model but not sure. He's considering selling for 14k. Has me thinking, do I need a bigger tractor. Obvious answer seems to be yes but I also have to think about my trails and some of the current tight spots this tractor would not fit through without some trail mods.
