1100c Strobe installation

MY 2020 just purchased and should have had the dealer install the rear work light and the strobe but I didn’t. Is it as simple as removing the plate on the roof And plugging the light in? Same on the dash is the plug right there if you remove the switch cover? I’m truly inept so if it’s not it’ll have to back to the dealer.

My X1100C with 100 hours on it has a problem: when I turn the air-conditioner on, within just a few minutes the front fan begins to turn on and off, cycling every few seconds. The AC cools great; low and high pressures are good. The receiver dryer sight glass shows coolant level is okay. I have replaced the coolant sensor that screws into the thermostat housing and the relay under seat that controls the front fan.

Hissing sound when driving around

Hi,

I have a almost brand new 1100XC with less than 50 hours on it. When I start it and drive around when it's "cold", it doesn't make any hissing sound. After a few minutes a few minutes of running, it starts doing this extremely annoying hissing sound.

I took a video a few minutes ago:

When I stop moving, it stops. Sometimes it doesn't do it, like when going downhill, but when I go uphill or on flat grounds, it's just insane.

What can do that and how can I fix this...

220-4 clutch rebuild

My clutch went out on my old 220-4 this weekend. Kind of surprised but the parts seem to be readily available. What I cant find is a 13 spline clutch alignment tool. Does anyone know where I can find one or have one that I could buy, rent, or borrow? I will pay all costs associated with getting it to me and be happy to ship it back if its a loaner. Always Hot Battery Power Lead

Unless there is a substantial moon, our farm is darker than 10 feet down a well at night. Many times I've tried to find the keyhole or the glovebox knob in the dark and had to pull out my phone - if I had it - to make with the flashy light.

Have a 2006 kubota rtv900 With 896 hours. I don’t no the history of what happened to create the engine problems but do know with testing the Engine has blow bye produced off #3 cylinder and weak compression in other two. My question is would it be beneficial to remove the complete engine and transmission for rebuild or try and do a inframe?

Yesterday I picked up a Snow Dogg "V" Plow for my 900. I think I got a good deal. the dealer had ordered it for someone last year and they never picked it up and he wanted it gone. New Snow Dogg Plow for RTV900

Do you have rear view mirrors on your tractor?

I've got a lot of seat time the past few days. Great weather for getting the brush hogging and box blading done.
I find it harder to turn around to view completely behind me than I used to. Old age I suppose, but I have mirrors on the RTV so why not the tractor? The front end loader bar that goes across the top of the hood would be a likely place to mount them.

Anyone else beat me to this and have mirrors on their tractor? If so what kind did you get and where did you mount them?

Mounting and Unmounting KFI Snow Plow.

Received my RTV X900 today. I purchased with a KFI snow plow. I took the plow off first thing as I don't plan on keeping it on until needed. It was difficult to get the pressure off the pins that hold the blade assembly to the RTV mount. I tried using a jack to make it easy to pull the pins but nothing seemed to relieve the pressure. I believe it is because I lowered the blade onto wooden blocks rather than putting it directly on the floor of my shed.

RTV Boss Plow

I'll post a couple pics here in case anyone is ever interested in getting a Boss plow for their RTV. I just put the three skid shoes on it today.

I haven't stiffened up my front suspension and don't think I need to. No real droop when I pick it up.

I am impressed with how high it lifts.

Later on I'll take it off and see if I am still going to be able to put my receiver mounted winch back on without removing the one part of the mount bracket, but it is only a couple bolts for that piece...

Doors for RTV X900

My dealer says my X900 should be ready next week. I have been considering doors for cold weather but would like some that can be easily removed as I do not want them on the vehicle for most of the year. It seems some type of fabric doors would be the best option but zippers and velcro closures seem like they would be a hassle. I saw some from Seizmic that have frames for $900 which seems a little high.

Any advice or personal experience on doors?

I am upgrading to a newer server. It will require a new IP address. The server upgrade will not take long but since the IP will change once again all will have to wait for the new IP address to propagate the network. As usual some will propagate fast others will take a day or more before you have access. .

We had a pot luck at work and someone brought this. I think it's worth sharing. Very good.

Cheesy Hash Brown Casserole

1 20 Oz package shredded hash brown potatoes
1 small can of cream of chicken soup
2 cups of shredded Cheddar Cheese
1 container of sour cream
1 stick of butter (melted)

Combine ingredients and dump into 9 x 13 pan.
Bake at 350 for 1 hour.

We're putting up new HT fence . Real heavy duty tornado like wire but stretches like a charm. The only problem I had was the DK40 being pulled backwards even with both brakes locked. But.. with a chock behind the rear wheels, it held like a tight drum or as they say a "fiddle string" .

RTV 500 Doors?

I was lucky enough that my father inlaw purchased us a RTV 500 a year plus ago. Got the roof, windshield and rear glass(that maybe plastic) but was sad to learn that I'm not able to get doors for it. Dealer says something like there's a flaw in the exhaust that leaks into the cabin.

Is this true, is there a hack to fix this? Have some owners figured out how to install doors?

If so, how long since you placed the order?

Great company and people but they are under the same supply line and labor shortages everyone else is. They use American steel which is apparently difficult to obtain, even with supply side contracts.

x1100c ...What is the difference between H and L

Some of my hills are a challenge for the RTV due to rocks sticking up, or slippery muddy areas. So I put the RTV in 4wd and go for it. I usually make it up the hill but once in awhile have to back down and give it another shot. I've made it up the hills while in H, and while in L. I do not notice a difference in the RTV's performance.

Can someone explain the difference in H and L please. Thanks.
