Changing the rear axle RTV X1100C

Trying to change the rear axle (CV Joint). I have a new one ordered and figured I might as well get started and remove the old one. I got the axle out, but there appears to be a piece still in the transmission that the inner cv joint went into. How do I remove this piece? Thanks for any help.

Temperature sensor’s Mahindra 3015

I recently bought an older Mahindra 3015 HST. I have not been able to find the exact year manufactured but believe it is 2004-2008.
I am trying to figure out what the two sensors are below the thermostat. From the parts schematics I have found online, one is a thermo switch and the other is gauge temp. Why are there 2 sensors? I know the lower one(gauge temp) sends to temperature gauge on the instrument panel, but what does the switch do?

No diesel to injectors

I just bought a Kubota 900rtv that previous owner stated that they killed it and then it would start. It has set about 2 years. I have replaced the fuel filter and I am getting fuel to the lift pump. I opened the bleeder valve on injector pump and have fuel coming out of it. I am not getting fuel to injectors at the injectors. Any ideas? Previous owner did state that they broke injectors at pump to try to bleed it. Heard rumors that might not be good? Fuel solenoid appears to be working...

Cheesy Hash Brown Casserole

We had a pot luck at work and someone brought this. I think it's worth sharing. Very good.

Cheesy Hash Brown Casserole

1 20 Oz package shredded hash brown potatoes
1 small can of cream of chicken soup
2 cups of shredded Cheddar Cheese
1 container of sour cream
1 stick of butter (melted)

Combine ingredients and dump into 9 x 13 pan.
Bake at 350 for 1 hour.

Anybody use their RTV for recreational off road fun?

Most of the time my RTV is a work machine. Hauling firewood, rocks, dirt, and trailers seems more often than not. And it does a great job. If I get lucky once in a while I get to bring it to my brothers farm, about 54 acres, to give it a bit of a workout on some well groomed trails. But even there I'm limited to a couple of large loops, and small connector trails. Some of it is still wilderness and inaccessible.

Engine Reinstall

I have a 2008 RTV 1100. Removed the engine/trans to fix up the frame. Reinstalled, engine runs. I didn't run for very long, but when I put it into gear (rear axle still removed) did not seem like it wanted to travel in gear. Does the hydro pump have a bleed/purge port if cavitated?

2021 Mahindra 2638

I'm adding a third function to my 2021 Mahindra 2638 for a grapple. Sitting on the tractor on the right below the floor board is the front end loader control valve. From my research, I'm supposed to connect the pressure side of the 3rd function valve to the "power beyond port or line". Does anyone have pictures that show where to hook up the pressure line? And the other line is supposed to go to a "return or tank line". I think I know where that goes but need confirmation. Please help!

Adding cruise control

I am trying to add a cruise control unit to my 2022 Mahindra 2638 HST. I have the dash switch installed and lights up the dash indicator, the magnet is installed but I cannot find the prewired plug to plug the magnet into. Any suggestions as where it is? I found one plug that has a jumper wire going across it??? not sure if that is the correct one? Thanks

It's that time again. 3859 hrs. They were last replaced at around 2000 hrs. I have been reading past posts on this subject and still have a few questions. 1. Did ya'll also replace the rubber cushion in the joint(called a cap in the shop manual) or did you use the old- I wonder if they are usually torn on removal or not. Insulate cab for noise???

Has anyone installed the sound deadening rubberized matting under the seat to try to kill the engine noise? I purchased several boxes of the mat but there are several access points under the seat that probably should not be covered.
Any recommendations as my wife says its too loud for her to ride in.

My M4700DT developed a front axle oil leak at the left bevel gear case oil seal (item 8. Notice the pic shows the seal to be a two-piece seal..but it’s actually a one-piece…similar to a common wheel bearing seal or any axle seal.)

I have a MF 275 early 1980's. The fan belt broke but to replace it I have to remove a shaft that is threaded into the pulley on the crankshaft. The shaft runs thru the front casting and terminate below the ac compressor assembly. Has anyone had to deal with this scenario? There is zero space to get a pipe wrench on the shaft, I've tried getting a pry bar between the bolts on the crankshaft pulley and then trying to loosen the shaft but can't get any purchase on the shaft. Mud season is approaching so I have been working on adding mud flaps to my new X1100C. I made rear flaps the same way I did for my old X900 - cut 3/16 rubber matting to shape and pop riveted to the fenders. I had them on my X900 for 7 years and they were as good as new when I sold it. These reduce the splash up on the tailgate when the tailgate is down. - not perfect but really helps. Doors for RTV X900

My dealer says my X900 should be ready next week. I have been considering doors for cold weather but would like some that can be easily removed as I do not want them on the vehicle for most of the year. It seems some type of fabric doors would be the best option but zippers and velcro closures seem like they would be a hassle. I saw some from Seizmic that have frames for $900 which seems a little high.

Any advice or personal experience on doors?

RTV1100 Front hub

I put tracks on my Rtv 1100 and in about 5 miles the front left track came off the hub. They where torqued down but pulled the threads out of a few of the stud holes. I bought a new hub and as I went to put it on the old one will not come off. I removed the axle nut and that hub does not budge. Is there a step im missing on these machines??? Any help would be great!!

I have a knock in my front axle. I replaced ball joint & both cv axles. Now when jacked up the right wheel turns easily but the left turns hard & makes the right tire turn backwards. Have screwed something up?
