Good morning. I recently did the 50 hour service on our RTV X1100C. After changing out the engine oil/filter and hydraulic/ transmission filters I turned to the grease zerks. I referred to the manual and tried to find every zerk that I could to grease. While doing this I ran across a part that I initially thought was a zerk
but it seems to be something else. Can any of you ID this part for me and provide any information on it? It has a black flip cap on it put appears larger than a zerk.

Part Identification

BX2370 Sporadic RPM

2016 model 840 hrs
Tractor runs fine at 2600 rpm then sporadically the rpm drops to anywhere between 500 - 1500 rom for a few seconds then eventually comes back up to 2600

Seems to occur the most often when under a load (i.e. mowing, up a hill). Seems like a fuel issue but I have just recently changed both fuel filters (1 before pump & 1 after pump) but that doesnt seem to have made a difference.

Fuel pump issue?

Any thoughts appreciated.

I installed a door jam switch to operate the dome light today on my 2018 X1100C. Now when I open the door my dome light comes on. The light is set up to come on by the ground being switched so this was an easy hack.

Passenger seat bottom lock?

Our dogs like (love) to ride in the cab of our RTV. If I hit the brakes or decelerate too quickly the passenger seat bottom flips up dumping the dogs. Anyone figure out a way to lock the seat bottom?

Weak pinion gears and shaft

Mahindra 4x4s, at least the 3215 are famous for destroying the front pinion gear and shaft. Is there an aftermarket source for higher quality for this part? Or a place that could heat treat an OEM one to make it harder?Im. I've got to replace mine and don't want to have to do it again a few hundred hours down the road.

How do you bleed the front brakes?

I have a 2006, RTV900, where the brake pedal goes to the floor. I have bled the rear brakes but am unable to find the fittings to bleed the front brakes. Can anyone assist?

Here's a twist from my Kubota/Allis Chalmers interests.

Made the 15 hour round trip yesterday and got my new to me Ford 3000 home! Runs awesome. No smoke or noises. Has couple marks but it was a working tractor. The seller showed me videos of it pulling 8 or 10 foot discs on his farm field before he rebuilt it.

Just need to get manuals and a headlight switch for it. The knob is missing.

Immensly stupid question -- I cant get my FD20 to start --- went in search of a fuel cut off valve in the injector - but see nothing obvious

Not obvious on wiring diagram - so WHAT STOPS THE TRACTOR WHEN I TURN THE KEY?? -- valve ligter calble was coiled up behind dash since before I had it --- I have also a random wirenot connected to starter switch that appears something to do with the glow plugs so dont know where to attach - it although glowplugs seem to work ok with out it!

Looking to replace my cylinder head on a 1.1L d1105 engine 28hp. I see remanufatured heads online but wondering how many different heads where made for the d1105 1.1L engine. Engine year is early 2000s probably 2003-2004. Came out of a grasshopper 928d mower. Casting marks on head say "k3-d" on the head...most of what I see online says "k2-d"...so what's the difference? 2008 rtv 1100, trying to get the AC running again. The fan on the condenser isn't running and I'm not sure if it should be. Best I can tell from the electrical diagram it should run when the switch on the dash is activated. Can anyone confirm? Thanks

2008 Kubota RTV shift issue

I have a 2008 Kubota RTV.
I purchased this recently and the previous owner said he always has to pull the dash override valve to change gears since it was new to switch gears. Is this correct I’ve owned newer ones that did not require this.
If I don’t pull the valve there is to much pressure to move gears. I thought the brake was supposed to relieve pressure.

I just picked this x900 up cheap but it doesn't move forward or backwards unless you hold the throttle wide open for about 30 seconds it will finally grab and go fluid is clean with new kubota filters I'm thinking possibly adjustment issue? Idk open to suggestions

Fuel flow issue RTV1100 '09

We bought the diesel RTV at an auction (had been stored in a dry garage) and ran it without any issues for a year, then it sat for 5 months due as we waited to fix a broken front shock and axle, no thanks to a grandkid. It has about 500 hours.

After the repair, it started fine and ran for about 30 minutes. We parked it, then the next time we cranked it, it would not fire or even sputter. I replaced the fuel stop solenoid, got it started and it ran like it was un-governed at high rpms...

Hello to you all. I am a newby to the Kubota RTV x1120DD. Bought it at an auction and fixing some issues. Changed all oils and filters. Engine runs strong but when I put it in R or H L, I can see it shifting but no movement. So, fire away with ideas to get this beast moving.
