RTV X1100 new speakers

I made a rear speaker mount and installed two 6.5 inch Polk DB 651 speakers. The sound is much better and I can hear and understand my music. I am thinking about making these, what do you think.

Hand throttle on RTV-X vehicles

I have been reading up and watching videos that were posted way back since early the Jan 2021 (on this and a number of other Forums), on the benefits of adding a hand throttle to RTV-Xs, and on similar and earlier Kubota models.
It seems the major reason advocating a hand throttle is to raise the base engine speed and torque to drive the snow plows and similar attachments at the correct RPM (and torque). But in real terms, a hand throttle has a broader role to play.

Does the rear axle have to come apart to install it?

I have a 2011 RTV 1100, and I broke a rear axle because both sides were shot when I bought this. I've bought all new bearings, seals, and two new axles, but I'm stumped on how to get it back together. I usually just pay the dealer whatever they want for these things, but this job was going to cost more than most used side by sides.

The axles come assembled, with those permanent (I think) boot clamps on the boots. From what I see, I'm going to have to knock apart the u-joints or cut off one...

I consider it a major safety issue, personally. I was ready and - I thought prepared - for it and I was still surprised by it. It is very easy to have an out of control forward or rearward acceleration with this thing. Furthermore, doing fine work - like spraying around buildings, trees etc. or moving it to service it on the rack - is extremely difficult and frustrating.

1120D - Steering When Not Running

Last weekend, the seven year old battery died in our X1120. I was able to get it going again with a jump pack and taking a replacement battery to install this coming weekend. I have never dived into hydro-static steering or how it works. But I understand the steering wheel is not directly connected to the steering arm or tie rod ends. It is instead connected to actuator valves.

Any ideas on the 2098 code. What I can find is an electronic issue with the dump valve. I replaced the coil on the valve and still have the issue. Fine when cool, as it gets to operating temp it will code. Self clears after a few minutes. Example, 20 bales to unload and stack, on bale 17 it coded. Coded 5 more times on the last 3 bales. Next day same thing only coded on bale 16. Dealer says it’s electrical but I’m not so sure. Only other symptoms is hydraulic pressure/flow drops off as it...

B21 Bogs down for no apparent reason

I have a 1999 B21 that was abused by it's previous owner. It runs great in a straight line. When I turn hard to the left or the right, it starts blowing black smoke and bogs down. That means it;s acting like it's under a heavy load. I've also noticed that if I start moving the bucket up and down when it starts doing that, then it starts to run right but only as long as I'm moving the bucket. This makes me think that the problem could somehow be in the hydraulics...

I'm totally confused.

Hydraulic filter problems

I took my hydraulic filter off, which is underneath the tractor. (YM 2000) and in front of the transmission. Cleaned it and tried to reinstall it, but there seems to be something in the hole where the filter goes, causing the filter not to go in all the way. Any help appreciated. Txs. Pumba/timone

How long did your RTV-X Battery Last?

Had a great Father's Day weekend with all my kids in attendance and the RTV got a good workout. On the last ride, my Son in law was putting it away so we could pack up and it wouldn't turn over. When you would turn on the key, I saw an ERR1 and an ERR2 on the information display. Assuming it was a low battery condition, I used my jump pack and she fired right off.

Need rear shocks anybody know how to get them for less than a root canal?

I broke a rear drive axle u-joint, so I have it all apart and I discovered that the passenger shock was mounted backwards and had broken itself. I'm guessing the factory did that, but it could have been the previous owner. It was obviously wrong because the bump stop didn't even point at the frame.

The shock is a Showa 100401, and appears to be a typical $15 shock if I could find a car with it, but I can't. It looks like I can buy rusty, used shocks for about $100, or new ones from...

Suddenly stop

2012 Boomer 30. Suddenly stopped found the weights in the governor trashed. Replaced with new and rebuilt, now it won’t start. Bled fuel forever and all the air is out. Disabled the coils and put ether in and it runs but alas, it won’t start on its own. Any suggestions? Much appreciated

Our 2009 RTV1100 CW9 Worksite Model 2009 - 2011 has less than 600 hours on it. This winter it sat for 4 months, ran good for 30 minutes in May, then wouldn't even sputter. Per my 5/11/23 post, here is what I've tried, plus the last step:

Hey Fellas, Few weeks ago my a/c on truck stopped cooling,.. hmmm upon close inspection found the wires to the low press switch had been chewed by rats ..
Easy fix. shop would have probably replaced the compressor . LOL .
Any ways.. other day notice a long segment of shop towels had some how gotten Tugged down in between the cab and bed on my X1100C .. hmm had to be a RAT ?

JD 7130 needs help

Hello All

We have a neighbor that is having a problem with his 7130 John Deere tractor.

As near as I can tell the engine is being limited to power output I assume by the computer system.

We have a fleet of JD equipment with only one new tractor and one used recently acquired late model tractor the rest of our JD fleet ranges in age from 50 years to 20 years old. For this reason I am not familiar with the electronics on these late model tractors.

JD 7130 needs help

X1100C wiring information needed

I have a 2022 X1100C the picture shows the wiring behind the switch panel. I know the 4 spaded wires are 2 positive and 2 ground wires. The blue and white 5 pin connectors are what I am interested in. What does each control? I have attached a picture. I am currently planning to add a rear camera and most likely LED lights from and rear. I know I can wait until I am ready to mount the LEDs but I'm just curious. All wires shown are ignition controlled.
