First post here and hopefully I don't come off as ignorant on the RTVs. I have a few questions and will add some backstory so hopefully this isn't too long of a post.

I was putting chains on my rear tires today, draped the chains over the tire, backed the Kubota up,
fastened the chains. Then proceeded to back the Kubota out of the barn so I could see where I needed to tighten the chains up. Antifreeze loss in reservoir?? X1100C

Hi All,

My 2014 X1100c has about 45hrs on it and I just noticed that the antifreeze reservoir is below the "Add" mark. It use to be midway up the canister between low and full. This is a closed system so where did it go? No leaks, no smoke, no sweet exhaust odor, oil is uncontaminated? It's probably missing about two cups. Could it have burped air from the system after all this time?

Happy Thanksgiving all! I'm new to the forum and just picked up a 2004 RTV900. It's got about 1600 hrs on it. The one of a few problems I have is the dump box doesn't seem to be going up high enough. I can't reach the top of the oil tank with the bed raised. I need to know how long the piston ii when fully extended to see if the correct cylinder is installed. Thanks for any help you can give.

x1100c oil leak out bottom of trans

Trying to sort out an oil leak out the bottom of the hst on my x1100c

Appears to becoming from bottom plug #90 in parts diagram attached.

Replaced the o-ring on it and it still appears to be leaking. Not much, but a sweat shows up around the plug after just a couple of minutes of sitting.

Anyone else ever had this issue? Wondering about doubling up the o-ring?

Looking to purchase an OEM roof for my 2013 Kubota RTV 900XT. The one that came with if is diamond plate aluminum, and will not work with the acrylic windshield I recently purchased no matter how I try to modify it. all Ideas and aftermarket opions would be appreciated.

Truck bed lining my rtv 1100 doors.

Wanted to post and see if anyone had done this before, but my doors are looking pretty ratty so I'm considering spraying or rolling them with truck bed liner. Just a cosmetic thing but I guess it could also help with keeping the noise inside down.

Do any of you run supplements in your fuel?

Quick question, does anyone run Power Service Winter Supplement & Cetane boost in your RTV's diesel fuel in the wintertime? I have never run it in my John Deere diesel, but I had an old Dodge 3500 one ton that had the Cummins in it and I would run that in it, as I had my diesel fuel gel up one time during the winter. Does Kubota recommend cetane boost for winter? I would hate for my fuel to gel up.

Kubota OEM Strobe Light & Turn Signal Kit are Stupid Expensive - What was your workaround?

I'm looking for easy-to-install alternatives to the Kubota OEM Strobe Light Kit and Turn Signal Kit. The strobe light kit seems fairly easy (except for the metal bracket), the turn signals seem more difficult.

Either way, if you found a "better" and hopefully "cheaper" alternative to the Kubota OEM components for these two purposes, I'd love to hear about them here.

I consider it a major safety issue, personally. I was ready and - I thought prepared - for it and I was still surprised by it. It is very easy to have an out of control forward or rearward acceleration with this thing. First thing I did is change the oil, and all filters. Used the Kubota filter pack that has everything in it and all the Kubota fluids.

RTV X1100c Driver window difficult

Hi all, has anyone had issues with roll up windows getting cranky? My driver door window sags at the front end while rolling up. I have to grab the window and pull it vertically to get it to go up. Passenger window is normal. I am trying to understand why before I tear into the door. I was thinking that it may be that the regulator isn't aligned right, or that the chanel that the window rides in has come loose so it isn't guided straight? Looks lie I might be able to access these...

Looking for used set of tracks for a 2020 RTV x1100c

Anyone have a set of Camso or Mattracks that they want to sell? Or just the Camso kit that lets the 4S1 tracks fit this RTV? I have a 4s1 set for our Honda Pioneer, and I was going to use those on the Kubota, but the adaptor kit is sold out till Feb, so I am looking for other options.

Thought I'd share my developing story.
I bought a 2020 RTV 1100, it's smokey and underpowered. I'm not too surprised by this, I knew the risk buying low at auction. Disappointed, but that was the risk I took.
I checked the basics, filters, etc, still very smokey. Less smoke at start than after running a while.
It has 900 hours, and it has a turbo installed. Unit looks good other than the engine issue, everything else works, not too rusty.
The fluids are all at correct levels...

MF 1250 Engine oil pan leak

My grandpa just bought a '94 MF 1250, it has a leak that looks to be coming from the engine oil pan. It has dripped down onto the drive shaft. Will i have to seperate the tractor to replace the oil pan gasket? Thanks for any help.

RTV 1100 Odd Transmssion Problem

Purchased an old rtv 1100 with suspected tranny issues.

Engine runs good. It moves fine until I press down on the accelerator more than about 20%. If I do that it stops moving all of a sudden like the hst pressure is dumped. If I let it go back to idle it will start moving again.

Any ideas?

I have 2640 John Deere. I just bought a new battery and installed. It will not start. The battery checks out good. Am told that it may be the starter solenoid starter. How difficult is it to get this replaced? Thanks

Hiding behind this cheesy front end loader is a four cylinder, gas powered, six speed John Deere tractor. Would anyone have an idea what the model series is? Perhaps what vintage?

I've repacked the bucket cylinders, all the lines have been replaced. Sometimes, the lift and dump work fine, but most often slow, and the lines chatter and shake. It's as if the pump is unloading. Hello All

We have a neighbor that is having a problem with his 7130 John Deere tractor.

As near as I can tell the engine is being limited to power output I assume by the computer system.

We have a fleet of JD equipment with only one new tractor and one used recently acquired late model tractor the rest of our JD fleet ranges in age from 50 years to 20 years old. For this reason I am not familiar with the electronics on these late model tractors.

Dome light switch

I installed a door jam switch to operate the dome light today on my 2018 X1100C. Now when I open the door my dome light comes on. The light is set up to come on by the ground being switched so this was an easy hack.
