I need to rebuild mine, those of you that have done this, on a scale of 1-10 with 1 being fairly easy how does this rate? I need to know whether to attempt it or take it to the shop. I lost one bearing in one of the idler gears, so at 20 years old just might as well rebuild the whole thing, just a matter of time for the rest of them.
never used a bale wagon before, tell me what i need to know. had great help the past 6-7 years, but that group of kids have moved on. figure we will be doing 10,000 -15,000 bales a year to start. fields are all within 2.5 miles. couldn't see going self propelled at this point as we are not sure how this will go. got either a jd 4040 or 3255 for the wagon. we are in upstate NY, so the weather does not always cooperate with us here.
I took it off and tried to straighten it out and it went back bowed when I put canvas back on.Anybody here ever had this problem with there's?
