Milwaukee M18 Fuel pole saw has arrived.

jeudi 2 mai 2019

(Note: we talked about these in the RTV talk about anything thread).

Thanks guys for bringing up the subject of battery operated pole saws. I bought online from CPO Outlet and got a fair price. Home depot sells it for about the same price I found out after ordering.

It arrived late yesterday. I was busy and didn't get to unbox it till this morning. Opened it, charged the battery and gave it a little workout today. Love it. It performed as you guys described. Cut through branches the size of my arm with no issues.

This will be so handy for keeping my trails clear. Thanks for the heads up on this kewl new (to me) tool. I did not trust battery powered tools like this until you all spoke so highly of them and their capabilities.

Fescue seed

I have a lot of fescue and I am wanting to let it go to seed before I cut it. So what do I need to look for to know the seed is ripe?

2008 new Holland 575 wire baler

Does anyone know how to get the backlash out of the top of the twister stack? The beveled gear that drives the chain.

Drying Hay - in a new way

If this works, check out this article from Progressive Forage.  I'm still trying to figure out how they harvest 80 to 100 acres per day, with this system.

Driving me nuts

I'm about to wage war on these birds...  I try to keep machinery clean and neat but they always seem to have a different idea.  Has anyone found a good solution to this problem?

A little light reading

I think this should be required reading for anyone starting in the hay business. It’s more info than you’ll ever need but there is more to making quality hay than just baling it. Not a terrible hard read and broke up into sections. I got it off Amazon years ago, it’s put out from Iowa State University. Think it cost me $12
