Has anyone had any experience with one of these in Alfalfa/Grass mix hay? I am told by the the dealer that i would not see any dry down difference in it compared to my Massey 1363 with steel rolls. I like the Massey but hate the hitch setup. Want to go with a swivel gearbox. Thanks

Has anyone converted a conventional drill to no till?

I don’t have the money quite yet to buy a no till drill but anyway I was thinking of converting my ih 510 to sorta no till drill. Option A I was thinking to throw out the old undercarriage and buy a complete no till undercarriage.
Option B Add disk opener and press wheels in the back. I like to plant oats and barley and what not for hay and my soil isn’t that thick lots of sandy loam.
Any recommendations what I should do and where should I buy parts?

There was a 40 ac grass hay field that recently sold.  I was wandering what would be a fair price to pay if the new owner would let me make the first cutting?  I'm thinking around $2 a small bale

Hand Throttle Question

Can someone tell me why the manual for the 1100C states not to use the hand throttle while driving the vehicle? Also, what is the difference in the optional hand throttle kit that Messicks sells as apposed to the pull up type on the 1100C?
Would there be any issue setting the pull throttle to half speed while plowing snow?
