I have a Boomer 20 that runs strong. Today I went to start it and the battery is fully charged but the motor won't turn over, I assume it's a safety switch, but don't know where to start.

3025E locking fuel cap

Hi All,

Does anyone know of a locking fuelcap for the 3025E? We have a meth cooker/dealer on property north of the farm and vandalism/theft is right up his alley.

I read a comment on the web that John Deere Locking Fuel Cap Part Number: AL113087 would fit the 3025E.

Anyone have experience with this??

Does anyone have insurance for your RTV that isn’t insured as a car in Ontario? Looking to take the machine off of my property but insurance is too expensive. I know the spec sheet lists fuel tank at 7.9

I filled up today, I had 3 bars when I headed to gas station. So I took the long scenic way around. I had been at two bars for awhile when I finally arrived at gas station.
Pumped 7.5 gallons of diesel into the tank. I did top it off after pump shut off. I went to the rim since I was off on a scenic ride of 30 miles or so. But 7.5 shocked me.

RTV 500 starting problem

Let me start by saying I am not the least bit mechanical, so if you assume zero knowledge on my part, that's probably pretty close. I have a Kubota RTV 500 that won't start. I assumed it was the battery but the battery checked out good. When I try to start it I just geta rapid clicking noise, so does that point to a faulty solenoid or faulty starter? If solenoid, is that a repair i should attempt myself or take it into the shop? TIA.

X1120 Bogged Down on Steep Climb

I was assisting a neighbor in inspection of his recently timbered land. He, his trusty pup and me were headed up a dozer path. Had zero trouble with traction and it started up the hill fine. This tractor has about 1900 hours and starts and runs fine. Fuel filter recently replaced and fuel regularly conditioned with Diesel 911. My fuel is pumped into the tractor through a filter and water separator on the fuel barrel. However, the engine randomly cuts out. i added tripple remotes to my 1996 ford new holland 3010S tractor with a woods loader by using the bracket and tubing for a tt60a and modifying the tubing and levers to fit using oem valve section's most of the parts were bought on ebay or through "partspring". the first section has float.

I suppose some of you already mowed a time or two, but I'm just now having to think about it. If things ever dry up I'll have to fire up the ole mower and cut some grass. At this point I'm kinda looking forward to it.....but I might deny that later down the road.

Sparks/grounding out from shifter? Starting issues

Hi, having an issue with starting. I am assuming it’s a grounding issue but we are getting sparks from the shifter when turning over the starter. You have to shake the shifter to get it to start and sometimes the starter is dragging. It doesn’t seem like a starter issue on the dragging as other times it has no problems.

It seems the major reason advocating a hand throttle is to raise the base engine speed and torque to drive the snow plows and similar attachments at the correct RPM (and torque). But in real terms, a hand throttle has a broader role to play.

I've seen the sticky on side rails and really liked the idea. So last week when I picked up my new 2104 x1100 I had the back window screen included as part of the deal. My plan was to use 1" tubing and run boards on the 2 sides as others have done with the window screen .

Wrong! I don't know if it will work on the previous1100 models but on the 2104 you cannot put a 1" tube in the front ( near the window) , the bracket for the window screen is in the way. I think kubota might have...

Any ideas for a rim conversion to enable using car tires on my buggy? I have the newer style 4-hole rims. I use my machine for transportation on streets in a village and would like to use a siped car tire. Better traction on ice and should roll easier.

No diesel to injectors

I just bought a Kubota 900rtv that previous owner stated that they killed it and then it would start. It has set about 2 years. I have replaced the fuel filter and I am getting fuel to the lift pump. I opened the bleeder valve on injector pump and have fuel coming out of it. I am not getting fuel to injectors at the injectors. Any ideas? Previous owner did state that they broke injectors at pump to try to bleed it. Heard rumors that might not be good? Fuel solenoid appears to be working...

Rattle from dump bed

I am both amused …and irritated….at the rattle that comes from the dump bed…mostly noticeable at idle/rest.

It seems a major cause of this rattle is the side-panel-inserts on the sides of the dump bed. They are inserted/retained by grooves within the upper edge and ends of the side-walls. They can be silenced several ways…. use foam pressed into the grooves….or pre-load the panels with foam behind them…. or REMOVE the inserts completely.
