1538 hst turns over but won't start

Tractor has 150 hours and has run perfect until now. I changed both fuel filters thinking it might be water but it still won't start. Any ideas?

I’m not in any way affiliated with this company. But… I stumbled on these while surfing around YouTube and they’re a perfect fix for the crappy side mirrors from Kubota for the RTV X1100C. I installed them today and the mirrors now actually work as side mirrors instead of useless decoration.

The stock wiper is certainly adequate, but I would like to convert it to one that has some intermittent functions. This is especially helpful with light snow or after a snow storm when snow drips from the trees. Has anyone made such a conversion? Back in the 60’s I purchased such a kit from JC Whitney for my VW.

No water in trans just dump. Level was just barely over top mark. 2007 rtv 1100 didn't have when I got machine 2 or so months ago. Drove yesterday in snow and rain any ideas.

I am currently trying to get low speed vehicle license plates for my Kubota RTV-X-1100 and I think I might have run into a snag. One of the requirements is to have a AS-1 or AS-4 windshield. My early serial number X1100 has an AS-2 windshield. AS-2 is the only thing that might disqualify my 1100 from being able to get Low Speed Plates. RTV1100c Kubota Electro-hydraulic Plow - Joystick/Controller Mount?

With a big storm yesterday, finally had a chance to play with my RTV and the plow. It works beautifully, IMO!

But what to do with the handheld joystick/controller in the cab, except for letting it flop around or sticking it in my drink holder. It would be awesome, and much more operationally efficient, if I could mount something to hold the controller and just push buttons on it, rather than fumbling with it every time I want to tilt or raise my blade. Solution ideas?

RTV x1100c quick hitch stuck

Just got an rtv x1100c with front quick hitch, 2 function hydraulic control (v5232) and blade.
Hitch with go up, but not down. I can hear the solenoid make a noise but it won't allow oil through the hose.
Had one like this awhile back that had a switch wired in so that when activated the hitch wouldn't lower. This one does not have that switch.

Can anyone shed some light on the matter?

I’m new to the chat group. My Kubota RTV1100 has developed an electrical problem. It isn the battery or the terminals. It will start and run fine for a while. It’ll restart, etc and be perfectly normal. Then the next time I try to start it, nothing. No lights, motor turnover, no click…nothing. Completely dead. A day later or longer, it might work fine or it might not. Whether or not it’s hot or cold makes no difference. Any thoughts out there? KubotaNed

Getting ready to change the fluids in the RTV.

The manual states to use API Service CC, CD or CF. I checked the shelves and don't have any in stock.
What I do have is Rotella T5 diesel oil with API Service CJ-4, CI-4, CI-4 PLUS, CH-4, CG-4. This is 10W-30. Also have John Deere oil with similar specs but it's 15W-40 which I'd think is probably a little to heavy for our winters.

Hey.....Attached are a couple of pictures that show a hairline crack in the Casting/Cover at the rear of the transmission on my 05 RTV. The crack runs from the bolt at 9, down to 7, and then across and up to 5 and 3 OClocks………...It is a very fine hairline but leaks enough fluid in a few days to be a real problem with running the trans dry and the expense of replacement fluid or trans...……..

I have over a mile of dirt road to keep open, and while plowing is easy, it is the ice coatings we get from time to time that is much more of a problem. I don't maintain a large supply of sand under cover or salted so I have to sand the road by hand - having a sander come in costs over $100 each time! Talked to the dealer and they told me was very hard to do and that those who attempted to do it start and bring it to them to finish. Not sure how true that is. New to me RTVX-1100c No power on inclines

I just bought this with 550 hours on it. Great physical condition and seemed to run fine. I drove it down into a pit and tried to climb out and it would die trying to run. I also tried to do what I saw here which was to give it not too much throttle and no difference.

On road it's fine but my max speed is like 21mph at best so I am thinking something is wrong with the power delivery.

I finally got my RTV back from the dealer. While there fixing the linkage that slipped out of sync, I had a few other things done that by themselves were not worthy of a trip to the dealer. Left melted headlight fixed, fuel gauge replaced (it had been intermittent but turns out it was the gauge, no labor for replacing). I also had tubes put in the rear tires and I got the hand throttle yall had been talking about. Awesome.

So I bought a used 1120D, runs great but it's very slow. The accelerator cable was replaced by a kubota dealer, but it barely moves the throttle. I played with it all day today and finally decide to buy a new one. That's when I discovered the Original part was discontinued and replaced. I think the new part is simply two long. I've adjusted it for all I can and I simply can't get the RPMs up. I can grab the throttle on the engine and double the rpm I can get from the gas pedal.

I would like to upgrade the front work lights to LEDS on my X1100C. I haven't plowed with it at night yet, and I'm wondering about glare with those lights being mounted so high. I keep thinking how you have to dim the high beams on a car or truck in heavy snow conditions. Maybe the halogen lights are better being not so bright. Does anyone use yellow LED lights (fog) for plowing and if so what kind? I see lots of LEDS and lightbars on everyone's RTV's but haven't heard how they work when...

Cracked case, gear lube with heavy metal filings in it leaking from bottom. Caused from ring gear bolts loosening and
2 of the 6 broke off, there did'nt appear to be any Lock Tite on the threads. Any one have a similar problem?

I own a 2003 rtv900 with 240hrs that I inherited problem is when you put it in any gear and push the throttle down it doesn’t move you have to more less feather the throttle for a few seconds for it to move I have changes trans fluid and used factory fluid and filters it acts like it’s low in fluid before pump picks up but it is full any help please

So, I am a retired import auto mechanic, and it is my first rodeo in Kubota 900 diesel repair. Back in the day we would pickle a transmission in Kerosene for about a week drain it out and replace the filters and fluid if we found water in the transmission. What is your take on this procedure and/or is there a better method with this UTV?

Hi folks, I have a water leak in my RTV 900. Seat coover stripped and noticed it was coming from water pump area. Removed water pump and noticed it was leaking from a hole in the casing. It was dirty when I took it off so thought it had cracked or corroded but as I cleaned the pump I noticed the hole was engineered....is it missing a frost plug or is it a tell tale that the bearing has gone? Over the last few years every time I order parts from C or M I look up the rubber top caps for my brush guard then delete them from my cart because I am too cheap to spend $60 for 2 rubber caps. (Mine dried up and fell out somewhere in the woods)
Last week applied tape measure to tubing to discover 2" x 3" exactly - not metric tubing, next, Amazon Prime search for "2 x 3 end cap" showed a 4 pack for $7 !!!
They are a tight perfect fit and I am a happy cheapskate...
