Rear axle questions

2008 Rtv 1100
I got rear axle bearing at the wheel hub that is in pretty bad shape, the wsm says I need to remove the whole axle subframe. For those of you who've done this job before, is it possible to remove the axle and bearings with the subframe still in place?
Next question, has anyone found a replacement boot for these rear axles? I need 1 to cover the splined section. I can't find it anywhere on the parts diagram.

Anyone have a 2660 with loader? I bought one a couple of months ago and have found it to be very unstable. I am going to have the dealer install fluid in both rear tires and I have ordered 3in. wheel spacers to widen the rear tires a total of 6in. The tractor is to tall and narrow to be used on ANY uneven surfaces, plus the loaders on these tractors are so strong and will lift so much weight it makes it a dangerous combination. Why UDT2 in the hydraulic (only) system

With the cost of UDT2 im asking why I'm running it in the hydraulic system of the RTV? I completely understand when it comes to the transmission but for a basic pump and 3 (with plow) cylinders I just don't get it. I'm new to the RTV scene so I'm asking questions before I make a mistake. My machine is a 2008 1100 if that matters.

The drivers side door on my X1100 has become increasingly difficult to open from the inside. So today I decided to see what the problem was. While I didn't see any thing obviously wrong with the mechanism I did notice some surface rust at the bottom of the door by the weep holes. Additionally I have seen quite a few 1100's for sale wit the bottom of the doors ate up with rust. Does any one have a good way to keed the doors from rusting out? RTV-X Maintenance

When rebuilding my kubota X1100 all the suspension grease fitting were dryer than a pop corn fart. Upon disassembly i could'nt find any indication that they had ever been greased. After replacing all the bushings and bolts I decided to make a maintenance chart. I found in the owners manual that Kubota recommends greasing the fittings every 50 hours. Does everyone grease every 50 hours? If not then how often?

Immensly stupid question -- I cant get my FD20 to start --- went in search of a fuel cut off valve in the injector - but see nothing obvious

Not obvious on wiring diagram - so WHAT STOPS THE TRACTOR WHEN I TURN THE KEY?? -- valve ligter calble was coiled up behind dash since before I had it --- I have also a random wirenot connected to starter switch that appears something to do with the glow plugs so dont know where to attach - it although glowplugs seem to work ok with out it!

So, in an other thread, I posted about trying to help out a farmer in my town with his rtv 900.
Had some success, however, I have a couple of questions.
1 . Is there a difference between the 900 and 1100?
2. When I search for parts, sites will ask about the model. I see designation codes (W, G, R, etc) I have no clue what that means.
3. Is there a way to decipher the part number? Some numbers have k then a number, also a 2 digit number dropped in the middle of the thing.

I just purchased an NX6010 HST cab (14 hours). It is not the tractor my 14-year-old DK45HST cab is. Yea, it has more horsepower plus major unwanted problems. Hello everyone,I'm to the point of assembly an when I go to put the plastic nose panel,that has the headlights an all in one piece,(pics below) I only see 2 bolt holes on each side that are in the cab holding this entire piece on? Nothing at all in front or outside at all. Is there something I'm not seing? Seems awful weak to me just having the entire nose panel basically flopping in the wind ,just held on by 4 bolts on the inside. Can someone confirm this? Its the 04 rtv 900.

B2620 in the Snow

Well, it went from minus 40 the other day to plus 6*C today. Son in law has been plowing the yard with the RTV while I was gone so today I cut some of the base off the driveway. Still impressed with what a little powerhouse that little B is.
And for all the complaints I here about R4's being no good on snow and ice, I have no problem at all with steering or traction and it was melting wet snow and I was cutting down to the ice.

TC35D Temp Gauge Erratic

Hi
New to this forum. I have a NH TC 35D that has a temp gauge that recently started going to max shortly after starting (sooner than it would have time to heat up ). On occasion a few toggles of the key and it returns to normal. Temp sensor was replaced with no change. Any ideas on aftermarket gauge as factory is nearly $400. Are there resistance measurements that I can check on the gauge or cluster pins?

There are a number of threads in which mirrors have been discussed, however this comment is a bit different so I made it a separate comment. I ordered the Kubota side mirrors when I ordered my X1100C. I took delivery in December of 2021. Anyone happen to have a rear tailgate for a 04 rtv 900? Does not need to be pretty or shiney! Just atleast able to be used.

I have the bed rails and front bed extender plate/ seal installed that work very well. My latest side kick accessory upgrade is the front hood rack. It is kubota's version of the Seizmek rack.
