Look what grew back

I feild rented 3 years 25 acres of mixed hay. This spring not much sign of anything except for henbit and chickweed. Sprayed with Roundup planted oats ra

and Orchard Grass The Orchard Grass would see that was in a warehouse for about 3 years failed all germination test.
Oats did a hundred bushel per acre , ,ton-and-a-half of straw per acre .None of the Orchard Grass Seed came up I'm not surprised. But all the Alfalfa and Orchard Grass that was there last year came up and is there now I guess it was dormant when we sprayed the hen bit and chickweed

Vibration on NH7330

This is the first year running this cutter( Flail ), its great, but it has developed a vibration. I was told it may get some a little vibration as time goes on. Not to sure about that. I don't se anything apparent that would be causing it. Where do I need to look, I did notice that maybe the clutch is wobbling some but maybe I didn't notice it before.

New Holland 1411 Discbine - Uneven cut

My 1411 seems to cut a little higher on the left side (hitch side) of the machine.  You can see the difference looking accross this piece of Alfalfa.  The pic was taken 2 days after I cut.  Header floatation seems good on both sides, though I haven't attempted to measure it with a scale.

Oh, and to give you an idea of how dry we are, that is one piece of 18 acres of Alfalfa I mowed.  It was all in blossom.  18 acres made 50 small squares.

Issues with hay dogs, on 278 New Holland Baler

I'm having issues, installing a new pin, and spring, on my 278, Baler. Having a Very hard time, getting the spring pushed down. Is there a way, to get the spring pushed down? I had changed a pin, and spring, a couple of years ago, on this baler, and I can't remember, how I was able, to get the spring installed. Your help, and advice, will be greatly appreciated.

Actual height of Kubota rtv X1100C

Looking at a possible deal to "upgrade" to a 2016 RTV X1100C from my X900 with cab.

Family member is looking for a vehicle like mine, so I might sell them mine then purchase a new X1100C.

Can someone tell me the true height of a X1100C with stock tires on it. Spec states that it is overall 82.3 inches tall. Is that to the top of the cab? My garage is a 7 foot door in height. With trim it is about 82 inches.

Thanks for the help in advance from those who have a X1100C.

Smoothing rough established grass hay field

I made a mistake this last spring.  I got tired of going over a field with my disc and cultipacker and didn't get it smooth enough.  5 times over a field gets to me.  The problem was mostly the sod from the previous years.   It is sort of a different soil.  When dry there is just no give in the soil.    I did the same process on a field 2 miles away and it is just fine.   I planted in orchard and brome and have a good stand, but it is very rough still.   Any good recommendations on what to do?   I don't think rolling it with some sort of heavy drum would work like I've seen suggested else where.   Because driving over it with my swather and big baler hasn't changed it much so how could a drum?   My first option right now is next spring while still in dormancy and moist is to run my cultipacker over it again with the pivot tracks in the same direction I cut and bale.  But I am thinking also of buying a triple K that I see listed at the local JD dealer.   It's cheap and probably needs new tools.   Any other thoughts?  Tearing it up and starting over isn't really an option.   The cultipacker will tear some out, but not enough to make much of a difference.  Given the price of grass hay seed and time to establish on 75 acres.   My Teff field is the same roughness, but I can disc that up and start over next spring and this fall.
