JD 466 not tying tight on right side

mardi 3 septembre 2019

I have a JD 466 round baler.  It is not tying very tight on the right side.  I have adjusted my monitor to have it wrap 10 times around the roll but it still is loose.  I have loosened and tightened and loosened the piece where the string comes out of the baler to the arms.  any help????

NH Super 1048 Engine swap/Re-power

Good afternoon everyone!

I have a really nice condition super 1048 that I have been considering an engine swap/re-power. The 361 gasser and 4 speed tranny could probably use some updating..  Everything runs good and it stacks great but, it easily overheats and is just a dog to operate.  I am considering adding a red dot AC unit to the top of the cab to help my attitude when 90-100 degrees outside! I worry that adding a compressor to the already taxed underpowered engine is just asking for greater troubles..  I have heard of swapping engines and wonder if this may not be the answer for me.  What can I squeeze under the 2nd table without to much difficulty?  I'd love an Allison Auto to match up as well..  Thanks for any input!!

Tie twine together

Using the orange round bale twine, thought I could just tie the 2 bales together with a small knot. Wrong!! When the knot gets to the 2 round twine puller (not sure what there are called) that pulls the twine into the round bale (Have an old M&W baler) It gets stuck and have to cut twine and manually feed the rest of the twine into to bale to continue the wrap.

Has to be a better way to connect the twine. I bought a different twine from local store that is yellow Tytan 29000 that seems more plastic and thicker than orange twine so I am thinking toe intertwine and maybe heat shrink it?

Thanks

What sprayer is this?

I bought this cheap from my neighbor. He bought it and modified it to spray his orchard. It was not the best orchard sprayer, so he bought an orchard sprayer, and left it for a few years, forgetting how it was set up.

I need it to spray my hay fields.

I know he used an upright piece of angle for a different project.

I am looking for a manual. I also need some close up pics of how it was assembled.

Once I get the steel pieces put together, I will need some help with piping and nozzles. I want it put together first.

Thanks
