Loader help

Bought a JD 3020 this summer, no loader. Brother in law has a 175 sitting around. Has anyone ever mounted a 175 on a 3020? Know if it is even possible?

Asphalt in Hay Barn

Hey guys, I've heard that asphalt would be the better choice when used in a hay barn as opposed to gravel or concrete.

Does anyone here have asphalt in their barn?

I was quoted a "base asphalt #57 mixture" and a "surface pavement mix" -- both are way cheaper than concrete -- not entirely sure the difference or what would be the best option, though.

Thanks in advance!

Bale Processing rates

Installed a boiler for a guy to heat his horse barn of all things, check cleared so whatever.

Anyways, he’s looking for some round bales but wants me to run em thru my Jaylor 3650 then he’ll come and get em with a dump truck after being processed.

His son is looking to start breeding horses so they’ll be feeding more and he wants to try some before buying his own to grind/process on site. Guess it's the way all the large horse ranches in Mexico feed theirs, cuts waste down to about nil, just like with cattle.

Whats the going rate for processing bales?

Really love my TV 900

A few days ago, the weather was forecast to be stormy so we were feeding early to beat the storms. The wind got up and you could feel the storm coming . Well the gate blew into the feed wagon as the tractor was pulling out past it so the gate got caught and was bent like an L. I should have been holding it but instead I was fishing limbs out of the culvert to avoid it being undermined by the expected floodwaters.
I looked at the bent gate and the 50 bulls there at the feed troughs . Then looked at the sky and the looming dark clouds . I knew I didn't have time the take the gate down and mash it down flat with the skid steer (at the barn) - it would take at least 30 plus minutes for that ... so I said "what do I do Lord " ? Right then I had the answer.. I pulled the 'bota to the bent place on the gate, put the brake on, and pulled and pushed with all my might. It was a light weight gate so I was blessed to have it closable right before the storm hit . The extreme weather alert had already gone off on my phone once as I started bending the gate back .... little did I know it would be another extreme alert going off less than 30 minutes later for a tornado. It was all done though and the gate was securely closed. Back at the barn the wind started making that eerie ominous howling so I looked around ,as I finished the bucket feeding under the barn, but saw nothing that looked like a tornado.. about that time I heard the distant CD sirens going off and the hard rain began and drowned out the siren.. My neighbor 2 miles down the road saw a funnel cloud but it never touched down. I was very grateful. collie

Work light plug type on 2018 RTV-X100c

samedi 29 décembre 2018

Does anyone know what kind of plug is used for the work light wiring harness. I want to add a couple of LED flood lights on the front and back on my RTV, but I'm trying to figure out where I can get a plug so I can connect them to the factory wiring loom already in place. If anyone knows where I can get a plug I would appreciate it.
Thanks

MFP payment

I submitted my crop data the day after I finished up my crops November 22nd.. we received the first half of our MFP money today. I was wondering what would happen as our Farm Service Agency office has been closed all week due to the holidays and now due two the government shut down. Rumor on the street is some people have received the second half of the payment already as well, but I cannot verify that for sure. Has anyone on here received the first and second half of the mfp payment
