so my 1140 has 18 hours on it and I noticed a leak under the back, I took it to my dealer. So there are two purge valves located at the top of the transmission. These have two rubber "snorkels" and if you run the RTV at high speeds for a long period of time the hydro fluid will purge out of the snorkel if the fluid level is too high. I just installed my SECOND mechanical fuel pick-up pump and,i still experience an oil leak. i sent the first one back,and now,the replacement has the same issue,,,,the oil is coming out where the "tickler" or mechanical pump (used for priming) shaft runs through the fuel pump,it is not sealed to the inside crankcase,i find it hard to belive that i now have 2 defective new pumps? i now,suspect pcv problems? Hello to you all. I am a newby to the Kubota RTV x1120DD. Bought it at an auction and fixing some issues. Changed all oils and filters. Engine runs strong but when I put it in R or H L, I can see it shifting but no movement. So, fire away with ideas to get this beast moving.

JD 4240 hydro PTO will not disengage.

My JD 4240 Has hydrostatic PTO and PTO turns all the time. If you decide to Bush Hog you must Hook Up PTO before cranking the Tractor and PTO does not stop turning until you switch tractor off.

Front Wheel Lug Bolts JD 870

I have a JD 870 that I noticed was missing 2 lug bolts on one front wheel and one on the other front wheel , Stopped by local dealer and they only had one in stock 5 bux for one bolt.. Checked tractor supply none that fit i stock.
Stopped by the local fastener company and they had same size , same hardness bolts CHEAP . just have to add washer. BUT wanted see what you guys thought about this before I put them in . Or should I wait till they get the bolts JD calls for in stock ?

API Service level for RTV engine oil

Getting ready to change the fluids in the RTV.

The manual states to use API Service CC, CD or CF. I checked the shelves and don't have any in stock.
What I do have is Rotella T5 diesel oil with API Service CJ-4, CI-4, CI-4 PLUS, CH-4, CG-4. This is 10W-30. Also have John Deere oil with similar specs but it's 15W-40 which I'd think is probably a little to heavy for our winters.

Hey fellas,
I was working under the dash installing a new head light switch on my 1997 JD 870 the other day ,
As I was inspecting the rest of the area I noticed a RED wire and one GREEN wire that looks as if they used to be plugged into something ,
But for the life of me Would not see where they may have went. one comes off the area where they are 3 other green wires plugged into a relay of sorts.

Hey folks.
My 2005 RTV900G overheated, and was blowing coolant on startup (looking in the radiator)
I pulled the head today and I have a crack in the 2nd cylinder from the injector port to the valve.
Also have 2 smaller smaller cracks starting on the outside 2 cylinders.

I've read through past posts on replacing the head. When I search I find a ton of aluminum heads complete with valves.

So I was installing the 2" lift kit I bought from my Kubota dealer last week and happen to notice the front passenger tire was wearing on the outside. After checking it out I noticed the tire/wheel was tilted in at the bottom when looking at it from the front. Now this was prior to installing the lift. Changed Backhoe Control Pattern

Possible 2020 X1140 total with KTAC

Has someone been through the process of insurance with KTAC? Does anyone know what % of repair = totaled? 50%, 60%, 70%. Had a large limb fall on the front hood area and after the dealer reviewed the damage it will need a new frame. The frame per se isn't tweeked, just the parts welded to it.

Then if it is totaled will I have to pay the difference in purchase price between a 20 and 22? 23? Crazy times and not sure how
things are playing out.

The stock wiper is certainly adequate, but I would like to convert it to one that has some intermittent functions. This is especially helpful with light snow or after a snow storm when snow drips from the trees. Has anyone made such a conversion? Back in the 60’s I purchased such a kit from JC Whitney for my VW.

I'm trying to figure out if my RTV will fit on my 5x10 utility trailer. My 2005 HPX gator just barely made it. I know I'll need to beef up the ramp but before I do has anyone tried it before. The trailer is rated at 2500# so it will just make the weight. Sorry if this has been covered in the past I'm new here and haven't looked everywhere. Thanks, Brian
