Have enjoyed the discussions on this forum. I have had a BX-23 TLB for a number of years and decided to buy an RTV X900.

Dealer tells me my unit will arrive the last week in August. I don't want to put a full rack on my machine but would like to put something on the bed that would hold my string trimmer. I can weld something up or purchase just not sure of the best design that would be easy to put on and take off of my machine. Any pics or recommended web sites would be appreciated.

2010 RTV 1100, 4WD Lever into HST tight, Pressure Relief Valve 3rd Gen poppet

Purchased a 2010 RTV at an auction, 760 hours. Doing breakdown to clean up frame rust and cable/hardware swap. Interested if anyone has insight on how much force generally needs to be applied to both the 4WD engagement lever (the cable connected to) located on the HST and the pressure relief poppet on the rear bottom of the cover plate coming from the brake cable-attach rod-lever then contacts poppet.

My 4WD handle would not move at all, I have yet to clean up the minor rust on the arm...

How to sharpin a point post hole digger

I recently purchased a used Husky 3 point post hole digger. It works fine in regular soil but I need to dig some holes in shale. I sharpened the point and that works very well. The cutting teeth just ride in top of the shale. I tried turning the cutting points upside down but that didn't help. so my question is how should I sharpen the the removable cutters. bad times. oil indicator light on and the garage can't find the problem. They checked all electronic stuff and replaced oil sensor switch and checked mother board. Claim the problem is internal with engine and engine needs to be taken apart and machined. Any ideas to avoid this?

Anyone Have Experience with Everything Grapple?

I am planning a spring grapple purchase to help out with many downed trees and brush piles. I have a BX2230 and it already has the third function hydraulics installed. This would be the 48" model.

The everything grapple appears to be more heavily built, has serrated teeth to get a better hold on things and has stops to prevent the root fingers from digging too deep.

Anyone have experience with these?

Hydraulic leak on ~2015 RTV-X900

My local dealer fixed a steering leak 2 years ago and everything was dry under and then this spring I started seeing the drops on the garage floor again.
I called the dealer and they can't look at it until the fall sometime so I put it up on some ramps to check it out. The source of the dripping was pointing to the hydraulic tank. I took off the under side skid plate and pointed a flashlight to where the hydraulic lines connect to the hydraulic tank.

I have a 2004, RTV 900 and pulled the wheels to have new Grim Reaper tires put on. Found out it Does NOT have Studs for the Wheels but Bolts and its a Pain in the Butt putting them back on especially for a Broke Down OLD Man!! Can the Bolts be replaced with Studs to make it easier to change a Wheel? I mean its Not Every day you do this BUT when you get OLD you need something to Hold the Wheel in Place!!

This happened twice with my Kubota RTV900. Just touch the "pedal" and the RTV accelerates very rapidly.
It is sudden, fast, and uncontrollable. First time it happened in reverse and the RTV was stopped by trees. The second time it happened while in forward and

Spewing oil out of the O-ring or seal. See blue circle in pic. If you zoom in on the pic, it appears part of it is missing. Perhaps it dry rotted???

I need some guidance on replacing the o-ring or seal please. Is it as simple as removing the pto cable and the three bolts?
I have the workshop manual and the only discussion on removal is when the tractor/transmission is split apart. Yikes! I hope I don't have to go that far to repair!!!!

x1100c ...What is the difference between H and L

Some of my hills are a challenge for the RTV due to rocks sticking up, or slippery muddy areas. So I put the RTV in 4wd and go for it. I usually make it up the hill but once in awhile have to back down and give it another shot. I've made it up the hills while in H, and while in L. I do not notice a difference in the RTV's performance.

Can someone explain the difference in H and L please. Thanks.

2008 RTV900 leg room vs. what?

I've had my 900 for 3+/- years. Made a dump bed for it, changed to 25" ATV tires and enjoyed it with no issues other then a spark arrester slowing be down and a brake adjustment also slowing me down. It does everything I need. I find myself wanting to tell her "It's me not you but we need to break up"

I put a basic radio in my RTV x1100c and hooked it to the built in speakers hidden in the headliner. I had it at max volume when cab noise was loud. Still could barely hear the radio but now it appears I've blow those speakers.
