Khun Hay Tedder GF 671

mercredi 20 août 2014

Can anyone tell me where I could fine parts for this old hay tedder. I am looking for the part that get the tines bolted to. It's a four arm tedder with four tines on each gear housing unit. Khun no longer makes replacement parts for this model. I'll even take a used part, I'm not picky as long as I can find the part.

Home Made High Rise Air Intake RTV 900

The other day I removed my air filter (K&N Outer Filter), blew it out, and decided I needed to get my intake higher than the stock setup. Here is a breakdown of the parts that I used. In the first picture is the lower assembly, starting with the curved factory hose attached to the intake on the air filter canister and the parts are listed beginning with that hose:

2" OD x 2 1/8" ID exhaust pipe adapter $3.50

2" PVC Street Elbow $2.27

2" OD x 2" OD exhaust pipe adapter $3.50

2" ID Flexible Exhaust Pipe(6' pc) $28.00

Second picture:

2" ID Flex pipe (used 4')

2" OD x 2" OD exhaust pipe adapter $3.50

2" PVC Street Elbow $2.27

2" PVC pipe (not cut)

2" PVC elbow

2- 2" screw pipe clamps

The items not priced were in my home stock. I used Flexfix tape for class 1 duct to attach and seal all connections. The 2" OD x 2 1/8 ID adapter slipped over the factory hose and note that I cut off 1/2" the smaller end of that adapter. The other adapters fit inside the flex pipe and I used screw clamps at those connections after taping. The metal adapters fit snugly in the PVC fittings and the tape creates a tight seal. The 2" flexible exhaust pipe just fit between the ROPS and the bed without pinching. I used PVC cement to attached the top PVC street elbow to about 13" of 2" PVC pipe.

Cable ties were used generously to secure the pipe and at the very end of the intake I decided to use at PVC "T", instead of a 90 degree elbow, wrapped with fiberglas furnace filter material to keep any flying critters out. Overall, I had a little less than $50 in material, not counting what I had in home stock, plus time and gas to pick up material, and about 1-1/2 hours of labor.

The remaining pictures are the final results. I started up the engine and it seems to run fine.

ASW 19/20 fra Traplet

Hej.

Hej

Overvejer at sælge min DX7 da jeg vil have flere kanaler. Er der interesse for at købe en sådan og hvad er den værd i dagens DK?

Because I sure as hell can't.

A woman rents a stable and land from a rich guy. She is pretty sharp and has all 23 stalls rented. Like me, she hustles all day, lives in tattered rags and drives junk with 100k miles.

She asked me to cut and bale all the property in June and I could keep it all, which I did. She even allowed me to store 8 of the best RB's in a riding arena. Sporadically, she had me deliver straw to her, but she would NOT buy my hay. She would have me go get medium bales from a big local guy i know and deliver them to her. I also bush hogged her paddocks

Sounds pretty good so far, right?

About 3 weeks ago, I stopped by and noticed she ran out of small squares and one of my round bales she was allowing me to store was cut open.

I was all jacked up. I thought "finally she's using my hay". I asked the stable hand if the horses liked it. He said he thought they liked it, but I could easily see it wasn't as good as the hay that I was bringing in from the other guy.

In fact, I think I may have made a mistake allowing her to access it, because now she can probably see it is just bales from the best patch of grass I could find on her property.

I contacted her a few days after she used up 2-3 bales and asked her if she wanted to buy the rest. She did. I got good money for all 8 of them.

Knowing it was average at best hay (really just the best 8 RBs of a natural grass field), I told her I had 10 Orch/Tim mix bales from another field ready for her if she wanted better hay. I also told her they were much better quality.

I stopped back yesterday and the place was filled with someone else's straw and someone else's hay.

I have done everything but shined her floors.

What went wrong????
