Winter Cover Crop Question

I read where folks plant winter wheat, rye or other winter cover crops on a cornfield, but what about a hay field?



Is there some annual cover crop you can plant over your ungrazed hayfield that can be mowed and baled successfully in the spring that requires no tillage? Is this something that is done with a hayfield?
