Tye Drill

I have a Tye Pasture Pleaser with the three boxes. It's a great machine. The main box has an agitator, witch we use a lot for dry land pasture mix seeds. The problem I'm having is with the seed packing or bridging over the seed cup even with the agitator. Anyone expirence this? I've heard of putting oats to push the seed through. Can I put bigger paddles on the agitator? Any help would be great.
