Im thinking of using preservative and a drying agent on the haybine this year. The preservative is supposed to be a dead bacteria instead of a live one like used on balers. I talked to a guy that says he gets a day faster baling time and has had a half inch of rain with no bleaching. I plan on making the windrows as wide as I can and then raking at no less than 40% moisture. Any thoughts??
