268 hayliner not tying

I just got a New Holland 268 hayliner. Always used john deere balers and I am new to New Holland and cant figure out how to thread the twine. The baler throws the twine into the knotters the first time and it looks like it ties but then it unthreads from the needles and I had to reset it I'm not sure if I'm doing it wrong or not any help would be awesome. I have a manual on order.
