bale size and round baler wear

Have read a couple of times on here and heard from locals that making a maximum size round bale (72 inches for me) is hard on the baler and causes excess wear.



Would like to hear opinions on this and explanations of what is hard/bad for the baler.



Personally I feel that round balers are designed to handle full size bales and as long as you don't make oversized bales, no excessive stress is put on the baler.
