Growing Alfalfa for the first time need advise

Dear members,

We are currently growing Rhodes Grass on 1000 acres in Pakistan and successfully moving in the business. Alfalfa has high demand in our Country and has a good export market as we'll on the region. We are thinking to initiate a pilot project of alfalfa hay. Please share your experiences about alfalfa production. What measures do we take as a newbie to alfalfa.

Soil: ph 7-8% , sufficient water availability, weather condition: winters 10 degree summers 50 degrees.

Does alfalfa has the same procedure as compared to Rhodes grass ?

What time does it takes for the seed to germinate ?

How much npk required per acre?

How much dap required per acre ?

Please suggest what ever will be helpful.
