Left alone on tractor with brain again. I have some land which is too far away to chop silage and truck it( gets expensive hauling grass in a dump truck 12 miles away 4 tonne at a time.) So I'm thinking of round baling wet, stacking them tight one lift high and packing chopped silage from home field around/ on top ofthem to keep air out. I can haul 15 tonne of wet silage bales on my truck verses hired dump truck at $100 pr hr. Any one try this? Wanna shoot holes in idea?
