ok people some of you will laugh and some will sigh lol and my friends call this my mid-life crisis. This is my first year at raising hogs for slaughter and Cornish Giants my question is after seeing (green feed bales) for sale is it a good practice and is it economical to purchase bales of green feed to feed my 5 hogs as the hog feed is getting expensive up here $14.00 for 25 KG. I plan on butchering in a couple months many help would be greatly appreciated.I built a portable pen which i move every other night its 16' x 20, I just don't think there growing as much as they could.
