thinking of purchasing a new holland procart 1022 hay rake for about 30 acres of alfalfa. Right now using an old 3 pt hitch rake and it isnt doing the best job when the hay is heavy. The concern is not having enough room at the end of the field to turn sufficently with the procart 1022 hay rake. one end of the field has a fence, the other end has a ditch. can anyone give me their advice or experience in using a procart 1022 hay rake? Its scary to spend the money to purchase one without talking to someone who has real experience with it first. thanks!
