I have to have hooked up a wire in the wrong position.
On the back of the alternator there are six lugs. I know the three on the right (neg) side are correct, and the big positive cannot go anywhere else. The other two wires have to be wrong.
can someone explain to me in plain english what all of the lugs are for? There is also a seperate regulator on the frame, for whatthat is worth.
I started it today after getting it wired back up, it appeared to be over charging. When I turned the key off it continued to run and I had to stall it to kill it.
