Until today I had never cleaned corrals or done dirtwork in January.
We woke up this morning to a steady drizzle of rain and a forecast of high 40's. The rain tapered off and I was looking for a project so on a whim I started cleaning corrals. It worked well and went quick.
I got ambitious and fired up the dozer thinking I would kill a few hours shoving dirt around. I have been working on leveling off a hill for a place to set my round pen up. There was no frost in the ground at all. I was pretty amazed to say the least. We have had several weeks of above average temperature but this is rediculous.
