Iam looking for ideas for another annual legume that I could plant with my oats besides peas. In the heavier lower land the peas do alright. But on the sandy spots the peas dry up and disappeared. Would some annual clovers maybe work better? Most clovers like moisture. Sweet clover grows in all the poor spots around here. Gravel pits, sandy ditches ete, but it as a biannual and does not do much till the second year. Is there an annual legume that does better is drier conditions? The picture is of the oats/peas last year about 5 weeks after seeding.
