brillion seeding crp and pheasants forever

lundi 1 juin 2015

I have a brillion ssb12 and customer wants me to seed crp wintercover to switchgrass. I can gladly do that according to the chart. However there is a nesting cover on another 110 of the 160 acres to be done. It has 6 different grasses with the most being 1.5 pounds/acre of big bluestem. The lowest seed in the grass mixture is .06 pound/acre of Fox sedge. The forbes mixture has 10 different wildflowers with the most being .5 pound/acre of prairie clover and .5 pound/acre of partridge pea. The lowest rate in the mixture is .006 pound/acre of culvers root.

Anyone ever do this with a brililion?? Also I have the normal fluted meters in the front alfalfa box and the cage agitator in the back brome box. What box would I use for the forbes mixture and what setting? Was thinking the front box for the forbes mixture and back box for the grass mixture.

Any suggestions to do it or not or should I just skip trying it and let someone else do it?
