Can anyone assist. We have a problem with banana shaped hay bales. It doesn't always occur , seems to improve if operated fast with high loading, but that isn't always possible as windrows vary.
I noticed it didnt have any wedges so bought a pair. Thinking I would probably just use 1 side. I have now tried 1 and swapped it from 1 side to the other , but no improvement with bale still curving the same way each time, however my test method isn't good as just throwing in hay .
My question is , can I just use 1 wedge with aim of straightening? And if so should it be fitted to the to the longer side or the shorter side?
