Tedder repair

I got a new to me old Tedder for pretty much scrap price and am wondering if it is worth fixing it which I think it is because it is in pretty good shape overall but it appears that water got into the gear box and cracked it a little not very bad but the bearings are not looking so good but would probley last a little while. So it looks like I would need to tear the whole thing apart to remove bearings that are bad so I figured I might as well replace all of them. So should I replace the gear box or just try to braze or weld it up or is this thing just not worth messing with.
