Ordered seed couple weeks ago and decided to plant quite a few more beans in this rotation. We like to plant beans in 15" rows.
Since Corn planting won't take as long this year a was thinking about doubling back with the corn planter. Anyone else do this? Dad did it few years back but didn't like driving on top of the row.
I was thinking about kicking the draw bar over to the side slot to move the planter over roughly 15" so we'll be able to drive between the existing rows. we run autostear so moving the draw bar would result in putting in an implement offset.
Anyone ever try this? With the amount of bean acres we're planting I'd like to get some use outta the corn planter
