1049 bale wagon vs 1069,79,89 and newer

I have a 1049 and absolutely hate it. Not real happy with the operation of it. I had a 1033 that I was very happy with. I had another guy tell me if he had to pick with a 1049 again he would quit raising hay. Is a 1069 and newer really that much better? What are the main differences? Mine seems to want to pull the center bale out of the bottom of th stack and beak strings. I seem to flip a lot of bales over on the 2nd table when the 2nd run of 3 is going up. Let me know what you guys think. I would go to a 1063 if I could find one.
