NH 275 knitter question

Hey guys. Brand new to the forum but have used it so many times in research.
I recently bought a new holland 275 baler over here in Australia. Very seized, very messy, very good to learn the ropes on.
My first (of many) questions is to do with the twine finger area. My needles touch the knotter frame as specified but there is a way bigger gap than the required 1/8” between the needle and twine disc. How do I lessen the gap?
Also, I can’t get the twine finger forward enough to get a 1/32” gap between the finger and needle. It seems to foul on the slide bolt “a” if I try and go forward enough.
Any help is much appreciated as I’m new to balers of any kind.
