I talked briefly to one of the local baler salesmen and he said New Holland is going to make some changes to the current line of round balers in 2019 and 2020. Sounds like some things are geared toward making the 5x6 balers more suited for baleage. The other item mentioned was that the declutch will become optional on the 5x6 balers, where historically it was standard. I am kind of glad to hear that as the declutch is really not needed to prevent net scuffing if the baler is powered tractor that’s been made in the last 25 years or so, and the declutch will eventually be a source of $$$ problems.
