2009 NH 7230 - Too old?

Looking to upgrade from haybine to NH 7230 discbine. Found a one owner 2009 NH 7230 for $13,500. He does his own maintenance changing oil every other year, keeps it clean, fixes what needs fixed so he tells me. Planning on making a road trip, 1 1/2 hour travel time. I reviewed several HT threads and Mike10 maintenance notes concerning these machines for reliability. I would like to get 5 - 7 years of use out of the next cutter without being nickel and dime to death.
What is too old, longevity of these cutters? As always appreciate your opinions.
