We don't need no steenkin' hay tests here at the compound 

 

I'm feeding crap this year.

 

Been pushing the cubes to offset the poor quality.

 

I got 3 cows that won't go in to cube.  They won't eat cubes off the ground.  They won't eat cubes at the fence line.  We've tried driving them into the pen, and they just hang back around the edge, and won't go to the bunks.  On the hay I'm feeding right now (that old half dead stuff off the meadow), they're puttin' this out.        Pretty dry, lot of undigested hay in there.

 

The cows that do cube are puttin' this out.     Good moisture, lands with a satisfying wet plop, and no undigested hay in there.
