Round baler bale count

I’m in the market for a used round baler, specifically I’ve been looking at the JD 458. My question is, is there anyway to verify the bale count on the baler? Obviously the condition vs number of bales showing on the monitor. I saw a baler 2009 monitor shows 5000 bales seems like a low bale count for the age. . Am I missing something is there anyway to know that the monitor hasn’t been replaced? Thanks
