I just installed my bht-2 moisture meter on my inline baler. Went to my neighbors old barn and rebaler some moldy alfalfa he baled 6 years ago and left in the barn only hay I could rebale. I'm all out lol. Hit the Calabration button while the chamber was empty and it said cal as it should it did show err with the chamber full but I think it's supposted to after reading the manual. Started baling show 12-17% moisture I thought it was spot on. The hay felt dry and was really dusty. Then I stuck my delhorst f2000 in the bales and it was saying the hay was 22-31% in the chamber. Out of the chamber the delmhorst was showing 17-24%. The delhorst has a Calabration button and it showed it was calibrated correct to. I have tested my delhorst against other moisture meters last summer and the test with 2% on the same bale. I feel the bht-2 is right but my delhorst has always been right in the past. What should I do?
Scratch my head about moisture meters.
