new holland 68

mercredi 3 juin 2015

hi fellas, well im back again looking for suggestions. I have a new Holland 68 baler and ive tried just about everything to get it to work right.thought I had it but.... back to the same problem.needles don't go all the way back home so plunger hits stop and shears bolt.now,  I have replaced chains

(proper number of links),bearings, tried advancing timing(that actually worked for a short time),tried going slower, faster(pto speed) you name it ,ive tried it.it will cycle when I turn the fly wheel by hand with the timing advanced, but running off the pto it shears bolts every time.the only clue I have is the chain from the drive sprocket to the knotter clutch sprocket is always jumped off the sprockets everytime.I do not know if this is happening before hand therefore causing the problem or if this is happening after the fact as I don't have anybody smart enough to run the tractor while I walk behind and watch.ps  hay is,... well was about as nice an fluffy and dry as it gets.any suggestions other than get rid of the pos will be appreciated. thanks mike
