new strategy?

The last three years I have hadabsolutely  beautiful planting conditions in May. Great. June, however, another story entirely. When the hay is at peak quality and yield its raining every three days and when not raining near 100% humidity. Three years in a row I'm starting to think its a pattern in my area. I'm thinking of doing first in May with great weather alongside planting. Yieldswould be closer to third cutting but second would have about 8 weeks of steady rain and humidity to the next harvest window in mid to late July. I'm wondering if the second cut would yield closer to a traditional first cutting at about 3 tpa. Taking way late over ripe first cutting is getting old.
