So I goofed up, got lazy and didn't add anti-gel to my tractor's diesel fuel this winter. Been so nice and warm, I pushed my luck. Now one of my tractors is sitting behind the barn with a bale of hay on the loader and won't run/start.
My guess is that the fuel has gelled up since it got down to about 3 the other night and only up to 17 yesterday.
Tractor initially started easily and ran about 3-4 minutes and then started surging, then died. Restarted, ran about a minute, died again. Then wouldn't start.
Anybody have any suggestions?
Thanks
Ralph
