Gps small odd shaped fields

I am new to GPS, a lot of my fields are 5 acres with fences on at least two sides, and odd shaped. Far from what you see out West. Hilly to I might add lol. When I'm spreading fertilizer, spaying, and planting I go around the perimeter of my fields twice then go back and forth starting in the straightest side. Is there any type of gps That would work for my sitituation?
