I need to upgrade my guidance system which is currently a homemade foam marker system that I made. It works ok, but I'm always having to tinker with it, and the quality of the foam has never been that great.
I use it for spraying weeds, and army worms, but if I had GPS in the cab I could also use it for spreading fertilizer and cutting/raking.
I'm Looking at the Trimble 250 it can be had on eBay for $1550 with the upgraded antenna. A quality foam system can be had for under a grand but would be attached and dedicated to the sprayer.
My question is what would you go with? Is the Trimble 250 a good unit, or would you prefer to follow foam trails?
