2" rain Lay it Wide or Narrow

I know this a common post but i have mixed feelings cause i onlh have 2 to 3 day window. Ograss is over ripe we had about 2" of steady rain last might grounds soaked. Lots of wind n sum today almost 90 deg. Same for tomorrow but still chance of tstorm. So do i lay narrow n ted this afternoon evening, or lay wide n let sun n breeze cover more hay even though ground is wet n o grass stems alredy look like straw? I will be small baling and will apply first response preservative. Thanks
