Gehl DM160 Part - Bevel Gear Set - 604646 - Saving my cutter

A funny thing happened when servicing my Gehl DM160 cutter, after changing the oil from the blade area, we discovered "No Oil" in the gear box!   Apparently the seals between the two areas are bad and the oil has been traveling back in forth when raising and lowering the cutter.

 

This weekend we are tearing it apart to inspect any damage.  I have ordered all the seals, rings and bearing replacement parts for might as well replace everything since we will have it open.   My problem is the Gehl DM160 Bevel Gear Set is no longer available, part number 604646.

 

Anyone have any ideas on where to find a used one?  I have talked to two different Gehl part dealers who do not have it and have confirmed through Gehl it's no longer available.  I have done many searches on the net with no luck.   I figure there has to be a used one rusting away somewhere?   Is there a "junk yard" for farm equipment?

 

Maybe this weekend we will discover no damage?   Any suggestions on where to find a used Gehl part of machine would be appreciated!
