Hay Applicator Questions - Hope to help

Good Day All,

 

First, I want to complement you all on the information and support that you all share and provide on this forum.  Our company signed up a few years ago, and has started to try and contribute where appropriate over the past season.  Hopefully we have done some good. 

 

I am starting this thread as a place for people to come with questions and comments that they may have regarding application systems for Baled Hay and Silage.  If you don’t know, our company manufactures application for the purpose of applying hay preservatives and silage inoculants.  We may not know all of the answers, but I do feel that our years of experience may allow us to be helpful to some of the Hay Talk members. 

 

To be clear, we are not trying to sell or promote application systems through this thread – I will admit we are in business to sell applicators – we just want to help support the industry that supports us.  We do not promote or endorse any specific Hay Preservative or Silage Inoculants, we just try to know enough to help producers apply it correctly. 

 

The reason that I wanted to start a thread for this specifically is that in other threads that we have contributed to some users begin to ask their specific questions which can easily derail the thread.  In addition to that, a thread like this may provide a good resource for other users that are searching for information.

Again, we may not have all of the answers, but hope to provide some value through support.
